This is a little small for cutting, but on very small jobs it will do fine. I will take it RVing with me.

This item was asked for by a Boy Scout after seeing the one I own. He was very happy with the hatchet. I made a leather cover for the hatchet head ( the plastic edge cover was lost by my granddaughter 2 minutes after she picked it up) and her boy friend, the Boy Scout, said he will try to make a cover like it.
These two are great kids, both are in the Navy Jr. ROTC in their high school, he is the C.O., she is the X.O. This tells you what kind of a "kid" likes your product.
